I am a Taiwanese-American and Seattleite who thinks deeply, pursues excellence, and advocates fiercely for what is good.
I am a triple-major at the University of Washington.

I bounced across many disciplines in the University before finally settling on the three majors I intend to graduate with in June 2027. I've also studied Modern Standard Arabic at the Yemen Institute for Arabic Language.

January 2025 - Present
Over 7 academic quarters, I've overseen course administration as a Lead Teaching Assistant for 1000+ undergraduate students across INFO 201, 300, and 370. I have guest lectured 600+ students on data cleaning methods, and overfitting and validation models using R. I have also written several homework assignments and examinations, and trained over a dozen new Teaching Assistants.
Khan Academy
October 2023 - Present
I currently serve as a Community Guardian for Khan Academy. This means that I oversee community safety across the platform. My work includes deleting 250,000+ discussion posts and suspending discussion privileges for 1500+ users. I also create programming contests with the Challenge Council.
Fiveable
2023
As a Community and Student Success Intern for Fiveable, I oversaw over 100 volunteers and championed a dozen programs that equipped high school students with access to college-readiness resources and AP exam preparation materials.
I research current social issues in Washington.
Bridging the Digital Divide in Kitsap County
January - June 2026
Sponsored by Kitsap Transit, this Informatics Capstone project researched how to leverage digital and information communication technologies on existing transit systems to increase residential awareness of Lifeline, a US social benefits program for the economically disadvantaged.

I explored the relationship between race and fentanyl overdose incidents using data from the Washington State Department of Health and United States Census Bureau. Used the R programming language and dplyr package.
